Well, hello all you people I have some interesting news for all of us using cell-phones while driving. If you caught on the road by one of our friend police-men, while texting, emailing, chatting, or surfing the net on your wonderful device. You will be given a $500 fine for braking the new bill that was passed on Wednesday. They say there is no demerit points taken off but drivers can also be charged with careless driving laws. If you where wondering this is for our Ontario, Canada drivers, but I think this will soon be in more countries.
The law does not affect bluetooth, hands-free devices, cellphones making 911 calls. But does include portable video games, MP3 players, and DVD players. GPS devices will be allowed as long as they are properly placed on the dashboard. This off course exempts officers, firefighters, paramedics and a few other groups of people that have asked for exemptions.

This is all done to prevent those stupid accidents on the road, my opinion is that sure this is not a bad rules as long as they don't full band hands-free communication. But I agree on this bill because to many people are dyeing for the most stupidest reason like a cell phone taker. For more information check out CP24 News
